The dark green plant grows to 3 or more feet tall, producing a large head with 4-6 large, easy to peel cloves, making it a favorite for cooking. This porcelain has an outstanding flavor, rivaling that of the Rocamboles and stores well into the winter months. Great flavor for pesto & salsas. There are approximately 5-6 heads per pound with this variety.
